500 ml bottle. Thanks liveFREEorRYE! Awesome brew! Poor ’s a murky, muddy water color. The aroma is of soft banana, light wheat and sweet caramel/toffee like malt with undertones of earth, butter and spices alongside a tiny touch of chocolate. The flavor is wheaty with light notes of sweet malt and banana. Light to medium mouth feel. To murky to tell carbonation. I could drink this any day of the week and twice on Tuesday!

Key Foods Brooklyn ($11.89): Pours a standard pilsner coloe... gold with a frothy white head. Aroma is grainy, vegetable and has those very German hops predominating. There is a little sweetness in the taste. Dry and slightly bitter German hops. I was actually expecting something a little bit better, but in any case, it did the trick fine.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours yellow with a rough white head. Malty nose. Medium body, fairly straight clean malts with a somewhat unpleasant tang indicating this to be an industrial Pils. Dry finish. 170910

Draught at their Keller. Pretty glowing yellow, almost pastel, with a high, smooth, head. Very cereally aroma, slightly earthy. Flavor is just like breakfast cereal—very grainy—need a spoon—with a touch of esters and citrus, but unfortunately very low hopping. Nice malts, though, and a relatively dry finish. Tasty and original, but the wine here is better.

Draught at the Biergarten. Buttery nose with lots of cereal malts. Flavor is quite bitter—butagain a lot of diacetyl and cereals. Malts are not so sweet, though. Clear, somewhat pale gold. Nice head. Not special.

12 oz bottle. Poured a clear golden color with a white head. Aroma is light grains, touch of grass, hops. A bit standard, plain, drinkable. Relatively clean finish. This was a good representation of the pilsener style.
