330ml can @ blackhaddock's beer cave. Pours a misty amber, large off- white head. Relatively light-bodied amber malts. And that's all I can remember I'm afraid. Last beer of the night. Can't remember leaving. Apologies to Jeremy. That'll learn me for doing a tasting on an empty stomach after a long bike ride.

33cl can via Beer52: BB 30th September 2024. Drank at home on 8th November 2023. Ruby hue to the dark brown body, tanned head. Malty nose and initial taste, hops kick in mid-sip. It's a decent Dark Lager even if it's really brewed in Cornwall.

330ml can via Beer52: BB 17th September 2024. Last beer of the mega session with minutemat at my place on 6th November 2023. Brewed in St Ives for Beer52, it's OK though. Amber bodied, slight haze, off-white bubbles on top. Malty and semi-sweet, just like an O'fest beer, no complaints.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A dark cola brown pour with a billowing beige head; toasted malt aroma; less watery than expected with a bitter grainy taste; and a fresh finish. Better than many other Schwarzbiers I’ve tried.

light smooth coffee, I'm not a lager drinker but this is ok. All lagers should be made this way

[33cl can from Beer52.] A hazy golden amber pour with a thick cream coloured head; sweet bready aroma; smooth in the mouth with a sweet crystal malt taste to start; then a touch of grassy bitterness and some lingering sourdough to finish. Better than average for a Beer52 brew.

Bottle from Lowcostbeer dot com. It pours a rich golden - yellow with a decent fluffy white head. The aroma is hearty bready malt, cereal, nuttiness, biscuit, baked goods and some grain. The taste is crispy and dry upfront, bitter - sweet, rich malt base, grain, cereal, biscuit, nuttiness, floury bread, slightly chalky, grassy, slightly floral with a drying finish. Average body and moderate carbonation. Decent enough malt driven lagerbier. Fairly hearty for the style.

Bottle from Low Cost Beer. Appearance - golden and lightly haze. Thin white head. Nose - grassy, green apple and shortbread. Taste - apple, treacle sponge and brown bread. Palate - light bodied, soft middle and dry finish. Overall - yes, I'm a fan of this.
