Partyfass Odense tasting. Dark golden with a lasting white head. Malty aroma with bread, fresh grain and toffee, along with a herbal touch. Sweetish malty flavour with a fruity touch and a medium hoppy finish.

(swing top bottle, 100cl) Hazy, amber colour with a big but quickly collapsing off-white foamy head. Bready malty and slightly nutty and toasty aroma with notes of caramel, and mildly spicy hops in the background. Moderately bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Bready and slightly crusty malty taste with caramel, nutty and subtle fruity notes; mildly hoppy spicy towards the lasting bitter-sweet finish. Pleasant! 10.IX.18

(swing top bottle, 100cl) Slightly hazy, bright amber colour with a big and slowly lacing off-white foamy head. Mildly buiscuity and buttery malty aroma with notes of caramel, honeydew and flowery and delicately spicy hops in the background. Balanced sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Robust malty base with notes of caramel, biscuits, bread crusts, subtle honey-fruity hints, as well as mildly spicy hops in the background; lasting sweet-bitter and slightly buttery malty finish. A very pleasant rural brew. 10.IX.18

Aroma is fine berries, gummy bears and fruity hops, slight caramel and juice. Taste is slight metallic gummy bears with fruit and not much else. Quite thin. Not bad though.

Bottle, many thanks to pivnizub & MoritzF! Hazy amber-copper color with white head. Aroma is gummy bears, light caramel, honeymelon. Taste is gummy bears, cereal, minerals, herbal hops, light honey. Like the Zwickel, on the sweeter side, but it works. Oily, a bit sticky mouthfeel, natural carbonation. Very good!

Fläschla (1000 ml, 5.3%, P13): Light amber coloured, hazy, loose medium-sized off-white head, than slowly collapses; moderate sweet-bitter aroma of bread and malt and honey with a peppery-herbal background; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, nearly medium-bodied, soft - as expected; lingering sweet-bitter finish with bready malt and an increasing happiness in the aftertaste. Another fine franconian example of a rural brew...
