Draught at Hawkes, London. Hazy pale yellow colour, thin white rim and aroma of fruity floral citrusy hop, mucky funk underhint. Taste is horseblanket, fleshy apple, melon, juicy fruit hoppy, citric, acidic. Slick mouthfeel, medium bodied, light carbonation, dry hopped finish. Nicely drinkable.

Draught at Hawkes, London. Golden colour, white bubbly rim and aroma of apple, citric, rice. Taste is sweetish, zesty fruits, fleshy apple, sourish, zingy, citric, salty. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying finish. Interesting, nicely drinkable.

Draught at Hawkes, London. Golden amber colour, some white bubbles on top and aroma of wood, apple, alittle funk. Taste is tangy, apple, fruity, some funky notes, woody, leather, with drying tannins. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry tannic finish. Nicely drinkabke.

Draught at Hawkes, London. Hazy orange gold colour, no head and aroma of spice, apple. Taste is sweet, apple sauce, apple strudel, spice, cinnamon, with alittle tartness. Medium bodied, low carbonation, finish has spice and lingering sweet apple. Quite OK

Draught at Hawkes, London 15Apr2022. Deep red colour, pinkish foam rim and aroma of juicy raspberry, strawberry, jammy. Taste is sweet, fruity berries, raspberry, strawberry, cordial-like, syrupy & jammy, with just alittle tartness. Medium bodied, light carbonation, sweet jammy berry finish. OK

750ml bottle from Hawkes, London. 7.2%. Hazy pale reddish purple colour, some short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of sour fruity, musty apple, grapey, citric, solventy. Taste is tart, dry, sour, fleshy apple, grape skins, with vinegar & solvent hints, some tangy notes and drying acidity. Medium bodied, light carbonation, very dry sour acidic finish. Quite OK.

Sample thanks to Grumbo. Pours a misty golden yellow, quite lively with a large white head receding quickly. Sweet nose with prominent dabinett, some mild honey. Taste is crisp with good dabinett definition, mead takes a backseat though some mild honey hints are present. Decent.
