Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers! Aroma of apples and honey, very sweet. Taste is not dissimilar with some of the honey coming through. Easy to drink but not amazing.

Keg at BD Castlegate. It pours clear pale greenish - yellow with a small bubbly white rim. The aroma is fresh, vibrant, fragrant, sweet - sour, lemon - lime, sherbet, gooseberry, white grape and crunchy green apple. The taste is crisp, firmly dry, apple skin, wood, some tannin, leather vibes, mild acidity, gooseberry, lime sherbet, vinous, white grape, hay, dull barnyard funk and a nip of booze with a bone dry finale. Lighter end of medium body and soft carbonation. Quite a grown up cider. Perhaps lacking in a touch of depth, but I am enjoying it nonetheless.

Well, my can says its 6%, must be the USA version? Pop the lid and pour and we get something that looks like pineapple juice, you know, like the stuff that comes out of a can of pineapple? Smells like alky laced pineapple juice. Olfactory says its rather light on the pineapple and rather heavy on the alky. First big swig is certainly pineapple, but much less than expected. Seems to be more of a like one of those malted beverage soda pops thangs. Now in the middle, I may be finally getting some apple cider, for the most part, its been absent. Now I'm getting some warming sensations. Towards the end, not really sure what to think of this stuff. Yes its a little tart, but I'm somewhat concerned about the amount of unfermented sugars in this. On the finish, I'm thinking its not so bad after all. Not much artificial attitude to it.

500ml bottle picked at Dogtap. It pours golden - amber with a touch of bubbles on top. The aroma is sweet - sour, tangy, some sourness, perfumed, floral, crunchy red & green apple, dried apple, apple skin and honey. The taste is firmly dry, apple skin, touch of tannin, crunchy, sweet - sour, puckering, oily, dull citrus, damp wood, leather, apple wine and a splash of white wine with a drying finish. Medium body, flat and oily mouth feel. Comes together well. Nice depth. Very drinkable.

Red clear pour with no head; aromas and taste are almost exclusively red berries - not a bad thing and not overly sweet, but not many apple notes.
