Panda at home, thanks to Fergus, 07/03/23. Almost clear golden with an off white covering that thins to a swirl. Nose is apple pulp, caramel, light sugars, grains, perfume. Taste comprises toffee apple, dusty hops, stewed apple, tannins. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. Decent drop.

Had three pineapple ciders from three vendors on one trip to Vegas, weird. @Brewdog Vegas. Frothy, hazy, wine glass pour. Smells of dusty dried pineapple, bittersweet dessert apples & sharp esters. Bittersweet, leaning bitter. Sweet dessert apple base dosed with some lovely, half ripe pineapple juice. Yeasty, soft texture, has a bit of a papaya flavor alongside the earthy core. Kinda okay.

On tap @Brewdog Vegas as Dead & Berried. Small but cute stemware @Brewdog. Clear, red grape pour, little bit of lace. Big grape/strawberry/blueberry nose. Juicy & kind of obvious & suspect. Dusty, Flintstones vitamin grape, nondescript bittersweet apple, chem burn, malic acid, calcium bitterness. Kinda ugly. Nope.

Half pour @Brewdog Vegas. Clear, medium gold, mostly still. Soapy, very earthy, old yeast, sweet, old apple peels. Sweet, very leafy, bittersweet leaning honey sweet, a little soap on the finish, chem burn, good crisp. Heavy for a pedestrian tap.

375ml bottle from Brewdog Oxford. Pale yellow appearance. Has a simplistic dessert apple profile and a very light yuzu touch. Expected more depth and character to come through from the sake yeast, which seems lacking. Bit disappointing.

Keg at BD Waterloo, 20/10/22. Light golden with a thin white covering. Nose is mellow apple, hint of caramel, apple skins, straw. Taste comprises apple pie, light sugars, tannins, toffee, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Decent enough cider.
