Bottle picked up from Hier Gibt's Bier webshop Eckersdorf Franconia Bayern and consumed at home Monday 7th March 2022 listening to Steve Lamaq on 6Music and cooking/warming up Pasta with Smoked Ham and Peas. Hazy amber on the pour with a white head that didn't hang around for long. A little caramel but there is also a little mint thing, slight bitterness. This is okay but I have had much better.

Bottle, 500 ml, shared with Max and Miro. Cloudy orange with medium white head. Malty, bit hoppy, medium carbonation, bitterish finish Light to medium bodied.

Schübel Pils, Flasche von REWE, Stadtsteinach. - Dunkelgoldgelb, klar; kaum Schaum. - In der Nase feine grasige Hopfung, ein wenig Zitrone. - Antrunk schlank und ordentlich grasig-zitronig gehopft, mit einer etwas strengen Note und einem Hauch von Kellerluft. Sehr milde Restsüße, ein wenig Butter, Anklänge an Karamelmalz wie bei einem böhmischen Pilsener. Milder rezent, mineralisch, schlank. Im trockenen Abgang passable grasige Bittere. Schwach muffiger Nachtrunk. - Individuelles Pilsener mit deutlichen Stärken und Schwächen, das in Richtung böhmisches Pils geht, obwohl die Hopfenaromen etwas vage sind; rund und süffig. Wäre mit besserem Aromahopfen erstklassig, aber das ist für diesen Preis (70 Cent) wohl nicht drin. (8.8.2021.)

Bottle. Cloudy yellow, quite fizzy, offwhite cream. Hayish and juicy malty nose with light hop play. Dry minerals on the forefront, orangepeel, grains, yeasty fruit, broad aromatic hops, lightly tart finish. Body is a bit insubstantial initially, gets better after you force the co2 out.

Flaska från Landbierparadis. Disig gyllengul vätska. Söt, maltig och fruktig doft. Djupa söta smaker av honung, nektar, frukt men med en rejäl ryggrad är säd, bröd, hö som ger fin balans. En bock som gränsar åt en helles eller kellerbier. Njutbar. Mycket gott

Süßlicher, hell malziger Beginn. Leicht getreidig, das helle Malz bleibt klar im Vordergrund. Etwas Karamell, mild herb, spritzig. Feinhopfig, langer malziger Nachhall. Der Geschmack bleibt noch lange präsent. 10/12/12/12/11/12

€-Fläschla (Vielen Dank, Martin!): Golden, hazy, slowly collapsing medium-sized white head, moderate sweetish malty nose with a certain fruitiness and a mild rural touch; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied, pretty soft; lingering sweet rural-grainy finish with some balancing bitterness in the aftertaste. Well quaffable, reliable franconian quality, even though a bit on the sweet side...

Schübel Kellerbock, unfiltriert, Flasche per Post vom Landbierparadies. - Helles Goldbraun, trüb. - In der Nase breites, getreidig-süßes helles Malz, herbsüße Frucht (Pfirsich, Aprikose), zarte Weizenbock-Anklänge, milder herbaler Hopfen. - Antrunk füllig hellmalzig, zart karamellig und breit getreidig-süß. Saftige, leicht kratzige herbal-hopfenwürzige und gedämpft zitrusfruchtige Herbe, bittere Pampelmuse, wenig Hefe. Milder rezent; leicht schnapsiger Alkohol. Im Abgang leicht trocken mit solider herbaler Bittere. - Der neue unfiltrierte Kellerbock vom Schübel ähnelt dem hellen Bock derselben Brauerei, kommt mir aber runder vor, wozu auch der leichte Hefeschleier beitragen mag.
