Amber with a frothy head of modest duration. Very much a Rauchbier, which I wasn’t expecting. Smells like burnt grains, woodsmoke and Christmas spices. Taste bitter with charred undertones. Lingering burnt grains and spice. Medium bodied, prickly carbonation. Unusual but not in a bad way. Doesn’t rise above the sum of its parts though.

A clear dark golden beer with a white head. Aroma of gently smoked dark, biscuit, spicy hops. Taste of mild smoked pale malt, biscuit, hints of honey, spicy bitter hops.
