Bottle from SB. Gusher! Pale yellow with a quick fizz. Slightly funky pear, some minerality a bit of lemon and tart apple skin. Somewhat dry. Very fine carbonation. Elegant and very nice to drink.

25cl pour @ weekly market, Caen after a 20k cycle from the coast. Pours pale greenish yellow, vibrant carbonation. Aroma of light perry pears. Fruit presence is perhaps subtle at first, settling slowly into a soft musty perry pear character, though never really coming out of its shell. Drying finish.

750ml bottle. Sparkling, pale golden colour, white foam head and aroma of pear, funk. Taste is tangy, pear, sweetish, woody, leather, funky, herby grass, with some drying bitter tannins. Light bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry skunky tannic finish. Very drinkable.

750ml bottle from stall at Barnard Castle Food festival, 2017. Orangey gold colour, fizzy white foam head that rapidly dissipates away and aroma of apple, woody oak and barnyard. Taste is juicy, apple, oaky, slightly sweetish, with some leathery barnyard funk notes. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry lightly tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

Pelna paleta smakowa owoce ogrodowe, tony gruszek. Sfermentowane konkretnie, posmak podobny do cydrow z Bretanii. Ten sam wedzonkawy zapaszek i smak. Ale delikatniejszy jest mimo to. Lekka metnosc, drobinki owocow chyba. Spora i musujaca piana, szybko opadajaca jak w dobrych szampanach. Cydr ten ma elegandzka etykiete, prestizowy wyglad butelki, korek prawdziwy drewniany i glosny przy otwarciu. Mimio slodyczy gruszek jest na koncu delikatnie wytrawny.
