Bottle. Clear yellow-golden color with white head. Aroma is pears, vanilla custard, not too sweet. Taste is pears, vanilla, minerals. Sparkly carbonation, mineraly mouthfeel. Not bad!

750ml from HoTM. It pours clear golden - amber with a fizzy effervescent head. The aroma is sweet, tangy, spritzy, juicy apple, earthy, oak, dull funk, apple candy, toffee apple and some sherbet. The taste is crisp and snappy, then it is a fair bit sweeter than I was expecting (got a brut), sweet ripe apple, crispy, juicy, sherbet, appetiser, American cream soda, refreshers, apple candy, apple tango, hint of woody tannin, earth and hay. Finish is slightly better but still with a lot of sweet apple. Medium body and lively, effervescent carbonation. Decent, if a touch sweet.

Bottle shared by JK, thanks! Pours a clear yellow gold with a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has dry apple with a hint of sweetness and a touch of earthiness. Flavor has same dry apple with a slightly sharp sweetness that grows in the finish.

Very nicely carbonated and great presentation on this bottle. Gold color, initially a sizeable head. Pear and oak flavors, yeast, ripe pear. I do not believe it is artificially sweetened but it is quite sweet.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Aroma is cherry oak barrrel aged. Absolutely amazing pear cider, unlike any I have had before. Almost cognac barrel elements to it. Lively fizz that unsettles stomach a bit. Overall though, I am slightly in love with this. It adds fire to my heresy of thinking the French make the best cider around.

Flasche in Frankreich gekauft. Orange-Gold leicht trüb kein Schaum. Aroma: gegorener Apfel, etwas Citrus, Bauernhof. Geschmack: moderate Süße, Heu, Apfel, gegorener Apfel, muffig im Abgang. Strahlt trotz etwas Säure eine Milde aus.

Apples, apples, apples. Sweet, saucey, glowing caramelized apples, with crispy tart edges. Blossomy and oaky notes, apple stems, twigs and massive tannins. Juicy and light carbonated. Pretty clean and sweet with dry finish. No farmhouse funk.

Sample thanks to sjogro. Slight hazy dull golden. Dry juicy apple, caramel, light oak, leathery, dry apple peel, flowery, soft booze. Solid medium sweet and light bitter. Medium bodied, slight alcohol in the finish.

Webordered bottle from Joran shared at home. Dark near clear golden with no lasting head. Sweet old apples, applesauce, ham, Calvados. Very juicy, appley, saucey and perhaps a little Calvados infusion aside the woody barrel notes. Citrus fruity, light floral. Very lovely smooth and complex drink. A bit of dirty rainbarrel and a bit rusty but also a bit raisany in the sweetness. Very unique. Feels like it’s 10% abv or something. A slow sipper.
