Unclear orange with a creamy head. Rustic basement notes, lemon zest, sourdough, marzipan, hay. Dry zesty bitterness, grainy hoppy bitterness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry hoppy zesty rustic bitter finish. A great example of a Franconian Kellerbier, all there what you would expect!

I asked for this at the brewery stube. They didnt know about it. But I was served their kellerbier which I suspect is the same beer. So here for the kellerbier: Served in a glass. 50cl. Pours unclear amber copper with a white head. Dry and toasted. Bread and biscuit. Dry and bitter finish. Quite nice.

Draught @ Brewery. Pours clear golden with a small white head. Small green apple. Hay and biscuit. Good breadcrusty malts beneath. This and the kellerbier suffered some fermentation issues on my visit easter, 2023.

Bottle picked up from REWE Getrankemarkt, Viechtach and consumed at home Sunday 12th March 2023 listening to Future Sound of London - Dead Cities, we're cooking Meatballs with Fregola and Feta. Pours clear gold with a white head, dry finish, subtle fruity edge, a tad simplistic but ok, good for a simple quaffing starter bier.

Tap. Dark amber brown. Smells like bread. Tastes like flat sweet beer with a sticky end. Why is everything so sticky?

Tap. Murky golden. Fruity, apple slightly mineralic mold. Tastes like sparkly bread that is a bit too old. Aftertaste is sticky applejuice. Not bad.

Bottle. Dark brown color. malty aroma with chocolate and loads of butter. Malty sweet, buttery flavor with caramel and chocolate. Some caramelly bitterness in the aftertaste, mixed with creme de cacao. Very rural beer with a rather dirty mouthfeel.

Tap at the Franconian Beerfest 2019. Hazy gold. Lemony nose wth biscuity hops. Sweet and lemony, biscuits, bread, with a peppery, prickly hop finish. Decent.
