Bottle shared by Marcus. Pours hazy peach with a transient creamy off-white head. Aroma is almost slightly old cat pee- but lets call it over-heated citrus. Flavor is floral, cooked light stone fruit, and citrus. It is nicely bitter and extremely pleasing.

Sampled @ Copenhagen Beer Festival 2011: Pours a pitch black body with a really nice fluffy and everlasting tanned head. Aroma is cold coffee with some ash, nicely roasted malts and it has a somewhat dry hopy aroma. Softly carbonated, full-bodied and has a slick and mouthfeeling. Nice roasted malty flavors with coffee, licorice, some chocolate paper and notes of ash and smoke. Ends in a quite dry finish with some light alcohol in the aftertaste. Quite good!

Sampled @ Copenhagen Beer Festival 2011: Pours a semi-hazy golden/orange body with a small off-white head. Aroma is quite rubbery like a bicycle tire and earthy with notes sour leafs, caramel and light peachy. Average carbonation, medium-bodied and has a oily and almost sticky mouthfeeling. A bit sour in the flavor, notes of light manure, caramel and it ends kinda soapy. It's nicely hopped, but there is something I cant put my finger on that's annoying me. Decent, but not more than that.

Rerate, shared bottle at local tasting. Black colour, moderate tan head. Nice roasty aroma, notes of coffee, dark chocolate and woodwork, a hint of liquorice. The flavour has roasty notes and just the right sweetness, coffee, liquorice and chocolate again, nice hoppy bitterness in the finish. A very well crafted beer. I’m upping it a couple points. Original rating: At Copenhagen Beer Festival 2011. Black colour, tan head. Malty and moderately roasty aroma, with notes of cassanade sugar, caramel and and hints of smoke. Also some hoppy notes. The flavour has also moderate roasty notes, chocolate and some caramel, hints of wood and smoke. Moderate but noticeable hops. Very nice!

At Copenhagen Beer Festival. Hazy deep golden colour. Strong and pleasant aroma of American hops (Warrior, Simcoe and Centennial), fruity and piney notes. The flavour is also dominated by said fruity hops, but is not too extreme. Noticeable malts with a little caramel balance the flavour nicely. Very good!

Bottle at CP&K. It pours hazy dark straw yellow, with a thick foamy head and lively carbonation. The nose is pine, bread, yeast and sweet caramel. The taste is resin, brown bread, lemon, lime zest, grapefruit, wood, astringent and some metal, with a long bitter and very dry finish. It is very savoury and far too fizzy for me.
