Draught @ brewpub. Golden colour, almost bright. Fresh malt aroma cracks with grain. Fresh, simple country lager. On the surface there seems little to it, but it is well-balanced and impeccably drinkable.

Draught@brewpub. Pale yellow colour, mediumsized creamy white head. Lots of lace. Aroma is bready malts, some hints of grass and yeast. Flavour is bigtime yeasty along with slight citrusacidic notes. Also some mild grassy and diacetylic notes. As it warms up it gets a bit honeyish as well.

Bottle, thanks a lot pivnizub! Golden, big eggshell creamy head. Light aromatic hops in the nose. Spicy bread base, light spice, citrussy and grassy hop aromatics in the finish and retronasal. Mellow mouthfeel, slightly resiny hops in the aftertaste. Nice.

Bottle (purchased at the Brauereigasthof): Big creamy, lasting white head, lively carbonation, golden coloured, malty-bisquity nose with a firm hayish-hoppy background; solid sweet-bitter flavour, soft MF, medium bodied; robust, lingering hoppy-bisquity finish with a tinge of alcohol in the bitter aftertaste. Good, hoppy franconian stuff..........
