Unser Bürgerbräu Hallgrafen-Bock, Flasche von Getränke Winkler, Altötting. - Lichtes Goldbraun, klar. - In der Nase schweres aber rundes helles Malz, zart brotig-karamellig und mit Anklängen an Vanille und Honig, abgerundet durch gedämpfte aber stattliche herbale Hopfung. - Antrunk kernig und fast derb hellmalzig mit tiefer Bonbonsüße, etwas Butter und Honig, ausbalanciert durch kräftige florale und herbale bzw. krautige Hopfenbittere. Milder rezent, schwer; gut kaschierter Alkohol. Im Abgang beträchtliche wenngleich ein wenig derbe Hopfenbittere. - Kerniger, tief malziger und sehr solide gehopfter heller Bock mit beträchtlicher Bittere, der bis in den bitteren Nachtrunk hinein eine fein honigsüße Reinheit bewahrt - liegt es am beworbenen kristallklaren Bergquellwasser? Shared with Silke and Peggy. Gold with a frothy, white head. Aroma is bready, slightly salty and slightly herbal. Not a lot drawing me in. Admittedly, this is slightly expired, so it may have lost something, but I doubt it to have been hugely different. Taste is bitter with a bit of dough-like sweetness. Trends metallic at the end. Medium-bodied, moderate carbonation, decent chewiness. Mediocre Helles. Drinkable.
