Gold with a frothy, white head. Aroma in the direction of green apples. Taste is very mildly bitter with dough-like undertones, followed up quickly by a watery but unwelcome sourness in the direction of apple vinegar. Finishes a touch grassy and with more apples, perhaps closer to apple cider than vinegar. I don't believe its begun to go off, despite the vinegary hints. It's just ... odd and a lot mellower than a typical German Pils. Drinkable.

100ml draught at Hopfen+Malz. Almost clear golden body, remaining white head that laced quite well. Mid-sweet grainy malts on the nose, inviting. Mixed taste of slightly spiced ripe fruits and bread-like malts. Malt-driven ending, semi-sweet. Well bodied. Pretty decent. (Aachen, 26.02.2026).

Bottle courtesy of Jonas and Ursula, cheers guys. Had this Friday 13th February at the Manglham 2nd Winter Tasting listening to Natural Magic - II . Jonas is cooking Pasta Carbonara. Pours clear light gold with a fast disappearing white head, wow super smooth. super drinkabilty, this is a very dangerous heller bock. Lovely in the mouth, wonderful sweet maltiness, honey like flavours, abv is completely hidden.

Bottle. Clear deep golden. Butter, apple, cream. Full, crunchy, light and soft. Very light, creamy, nice. Would love to have this from tap, but still quite nice.
