Bottle. Color: Lightly hazy dark golden / orange amber, white head. Aroma: Malty, yeasty. Taste: Malty, bread, some caramel, candy sugar, herbal notes, hoppy backbone. Moderate to over moderate sweet and bitter. Starting more sweetish, finishing more bitter. Medium body, average carbonation. Decent.

Bottle bought at the castle after pur visit and guided tour (worth it!) shared with Laura. Dark murky golden-ish color, full sized white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, caramel a bit, candy sugar, softly sweetish and a bit bitter. Quite solid I mist say.

33 cl can served in a champagne flute. An orangish to peach pour, slightly hazy, with a thicker-than-expected off-white head. Aroma is red berries (mostly raspberry, also strawberry, redcurrant). Less carbonation than expected. Not too dry onset, but certainly not sweet. Crisp, but not overly so. Abrupt, short-lived finish. Just refreshing and simple.

A rather dark golden pour with a thin, ivoy head. Aromas of porridge, cookies, cereal and lemon. Dry, soft, medium-bodied. Reduced bitterness, low-lingering.

330 ml bottle. Pours a dull amber with moderate head. Aromas of coriander, earth, lemon wax, fruity Belgian yeast and soft wheaty malts. Thin flavors of same. OK, but not getting anything really hoppy, even for EU hops.

W smaku słodowe, lekko kwaskowe, sporo nut owocowych, piwo generalnie jest półwytrawne, kontra słodowa subtelna.
Goryczka niska do średniej, brakuje jej, wysycenie w normie, ciało też, alkohol prawie nie wyczuwalny.
Może być, ale daleko mu do najlepszych.

Fast dwindling whitish head over hazy, finely carbonated yellow beer. Calvados' nose - but if I hadn't known, I would have just said fine spirit. Further a flavour from pear, rather than apple; ripe wheat, and a bit dusty. Sweet, almondy, marzipan, even a bit cardboard. Much more typical Triple Val-Dieu, than the Grand Vin that completely changed the character. Sweet booze, cream-filled cookies, vanilla. Good carbonation. Alcoholheat, viscous. Rather disappointing, having had the Grand Vin before.

Bottle. Dark brown with an ok beige head. Aroma of yeast, brown sugar and caramel. Taste of caramel, dried fruits, yeast, dark bread, fruitcake, brown sugar, a tiny hint of herbs and chocolate. Somewhat sweet. Low bitterness. Medium to strong carbonation. Pretty süffig for a Dubbel. Balanced. Nice.
