10/1/2021. Bottle sample courtesy of SHIG, cheers. Pours clear amber red with minimal head. Aroma of sweet rhubarb, candy, vanilla, honey, caramel. Medium plus sweetness with minimal bitter/tart. Moderate body, sticky texture, no carbonation. Quite nice, could have had more from the rhubarb though.

Bottle from Vine Yard, Swanage. Dry apple peel aroma, with a vague grassiness to it. Pale gold. Visibly bubbly albeit the head only lasts a few seconds. Initially light sour with underlying sweetness which provides some pep. The sourness than increased with a touch of bitterness. The hops are not particularly noticeable. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Fizzy carbonation. Dry finish. It's fine. Muted perhaps.
