Fruity and delicately grassy hoppy aroma with notes of citrus and grapefruit, backed by mildly malty notes and a tinge of caramel. Mildly bitter and slightly sweet flavour, light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slim malt character with subtle hints of caramel, mildly fruity and slightly grassy hops from the middle part, lingering into the dry and slim bitter-sweet finish. 15.XI.15

(bottle, 33cl) Dark brown coloured hue with a big but collapsing beige foamy head. Mildly roasted grainy malty aroma with notes of chocolate, vanilla, coffee and a very subtle fruity touch. Moderately sweet and discreetly bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a modest carbonation. Dark malt character with roasted grains, dark and milk chocolate at the same time, vanilla, shy hints of coffee; balanced roasty bitter and sweet malty finish with a cautious touch of acidity, subtle fruitiness. Handpump @La Tana (Rome). Pours deep brown/cocacola with a minimal head. Aroma of roasted malts, mild coffee, chocolate, grass. Flavour is medium sweet with a delicate bitter end, coffee in the aftertaste. Light body, light carbonation. Nice mild.

(bottle, 75cl, #520) Hazy, mahogany colour with a beige and short foamy layer. Strong Bourbon-barrel aroma with loads of vanilla, backed by dark malty, delicately nutty and fruity notes. Moderately sweet and mildly bitter flavour, full bodied with a soft carbonation. Dark malt character with delicately fruity and nutty notes, accompanied by oaky vanilla notes; sweet-bitter finish with oak, vanilla and alcohol. Likeable. 23.IX.15

Bottle: Amber coloured, hazy, medium-sized and slowly collapsing off-white head; dryish herbal to piney hoppy nose, some malt underneath; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, quite soft - quite light bodied; lingering and still soft herbal and caramelly finish. Not exciting and a bit thin, but all in all quite well balanced and pretty well drinkable…
