From the Brotherhood stash. I was thinking of decanting this into a panda but it was such a gusher I decided it would be too much effort. Opaque ruby red. Thick foamy pink tinged head, with dece lacing. Aroma is earthy and beetroot dominated but there is an underlying citrus sourness. Flavourwise it's sour - vinous and citrusy- before definite earthy slightly acidic beetroot appears. Peripheral spice. Light. Thin. Soft-fizzy buoyant carbonation. Is this interesting or just odd? I think the answer is both plus a dollop of confusion. And it does ultimately work, even if it's not a beer I would be looking to have again.
