Description
Bullfrog Brewery is a proudly independent and multiple award-winning craft microbrewery, brewpub, and eatery nestled comfortably in the vibrant heart of downtown Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Born of fortuitous circumstance and ambitious aspiration, we opened in August of 1996 with a committed 'focal on local' philosophy and a simple yet lofty goal ... to be the place that people need to spend time, to brew beers that people need to have in their life, to offer food that people need to eat, to offer live music that people need to hear, and to be the place that our beloved staff need to work. Bullfrog beers are renowned far and wide, especially our artfully-crafted, barrel-aged wild ales such as Le Roar Grrrz and Rood Bruin. Here at "The Frog," we celebrate life by creating outstanding and memorable beers, food, friendships, and moments.

Bottle shared thanks to Maakun. Very hazy amber with no head. Aroma is very lactic, big wood glue, cardboard, tart fruit, bile. Flavour is heavy sour. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Not the worst beer I’ve had, but not possible to drink very much of it.

Thank you Maakun. 750 ml. bottle sampled @ Pre-Borefts Ratebeer Tasting 2016. Vintage 2015. Hazy dark amber, little white. Nose is lovely sour yoghurt, very interesting, yoghurt fruit, low jam, puckering. Taste is amazing creamy yoghurt sour profile with rich fruit, zest, faintest plastic (only minor detail), rich fruit. Very interesting sour profile, awesome fruit. Wonderful.

Bottle shared @ Borefts Pre-tasting. Clear light red color, average sized white head. Aroma has quite some (black)berries, but there a bit ’covered in dust’ so to speak. Taste lots of blackberries, slightly sweet and a nice sourish bitter tart. Decent body and carbonation.
