Clear ruby with little beige head. Aroma is caramellized nuts toffee pistacchio. Slightly oxidized. Taste has stale nuts and more oxidized/roasty notes. Only medium body. Much carbonation. Nut peel on the tongue. Not so smooth. Still drinkable and ok.

Clear golden with medium white head. Aroma is grass, cooked corn, sugar, some bitter hops, maybe orange peel and bready malts. Taste is sour lemon juice with a hoppy tartness. Finish of more corn and some fusels with sour dust. Low carbonation, thin body, light but sourness enriched mouthfeel. Meh.

500ml bottle [[as Bayerisch Dunkel] Another regional gem kindly catered by Maddie - thank you very much again!]. Clear, chestnut colour with ruby glimmer and average to huge, frothy, diminishing, minimally lacing, off-white head. Dark malty aroma, hints of malt lozenge, some malt spiciness with hints of chicory in homoeopathic dosis, mild hoppy overtones with a waxy grassy touch. Taste is minimally dry dark malty, slightly nuttily, minimally toasty, subtle sweetness with a touch of malt lozenge; soft and creamy palate.
