Bottle: Clear, copper coloured, quite quickly collapsing off-white foamy layer, dark caramalt with a heavy tinge of molasses in the nose, backed by some raisins; moderate to robust sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; malty caramelly finish with a delicate, but increasing bitterness towards the very end, quite well hidden alcohol. Godd, pleasant stuff, much better than expected............

Re-rate from bottle. By far more impressive malt body this time around - it is a doppelbock for sure now. Fullbodied, nice far roast and preserved fruit, a hint smoke. Old rating - 6 4 6 3 11 Bottle. Brown golden lacing cappucino head. Light caramelized molassis aroma. Sweet malt base, light roastyness, ok hop balance, finishing on a equally roasted and bitter-dry foot. Caramel retronasal. Medium to light mouthfeel, a hint stickyness on the tongue. Simple, drinkable bock.

The bottle looks really good. The beer in the glass also. Tastes dry, not so penetrating, a little bit spicy also. Not bad - drinkable!

The bottle looks really good. The beer in the glass also, but there is not much foam. The beer tastes very alcoholic, that’s not good. But it’s not too malty like other beers of this style.

50 cL bottle. Pours pale and clear yellow with a white head. Aroma is slight dry and grainy. Flavour holds a dry malt base, almost breadish, with a decent bitterness in the finish. Somewhat floral and fresh.

Can. A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of straw and malt. The flavor is sweet mlaty with a crisp hop presence, leading to a dry hoppy finish. Nice pils.

(33cl bottle) Clear, dark amber colour with a medium-sized beige foamy head. Sweet and a bit sugary, molassy, toast-malty and bready nose with light fruity notes of dried berries. Sweet flavour, full bodied with a smooth carbonation. Slightly roasted, sugar-syrupy malty taste with caramel. Sweetish and sticky molassy finish with a moderate toast-malty note. Not a great pleasure.
