Bottle: Light to full amber coloured, quickly diminishing mid-sized off-white head; moderate aroma: dried fruit and caramel, a bit vinous; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, rather light bodied for a brew of 6.9% ABV; fruity-malty finish with an illusion of cacao and bitterness. A not really impressive Bock........

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear, amber golden with a tall, dense and handsome, off-white head. Aroma of malt, a bit of caramel and alcohol. Medium body with a solid and sweet malt base with distinct accents of caramel. The finish is a bit raw in its bitterness with also some alcohol showing. 160207

(bottle) Clear, dark amber colour with a small light-beige foamy head. Sweet toast-malty aroma, slightly fruity with a tinge of caramel. Sweet, strong malty, toasty taste with light notes of caramel, medium to full bodied with a smooth carbonation; sweet, dark malty, minimal bitter finish with a pleasantly warming alcohol management. Pretty quaffable Bock.

(bottle) Clear, deep golden colour with a fluffy, off-white foamy head. Sweet, almost chewy malty, slightly toasty aroma with notes of alcohol and a shy whiff of hops. Sweet flavour, moderately toasted malty taste with notes of honey and an alcoholic background from the beginning, not unpleasant but warming; sweet, malty finish with light herbal hoppy notes.

Bottle: Clear, pale golden coloured; medium-sized stable creamy head; faint grainy and sweet-malty nose with a tinge of grassy bitterness and a big touch of cardboard; moderate dry bitter flavour, light bodied, small malty base; bitter, slightly malty finish. Not the worst Pils........
