Bottled. Amber to brown color with an off-white head that disappeares too soon. Light sweet malty aroma with some hoppiness and alcohol. Nice warming flavor with sweet malt and some spicyness. Light fizzy, medium palate. Some metallic notes in the medium bitter finish. (060106)

Dark amber color. Malty and alcoholic aroma. Strong mouthfeel, but some malt and caramel make of it a pretty good one. Strong final (bitterness and caramel).

A hazy orange beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of straw, and so is the flavor, leading to a dry end.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pilsener golden with a small, white head. Rather malty nose. Nice, full body. Strangely the beer is dominated by marked bittering hops rather than sweet malt. Hence this comes out as a rather atypical Helles. Also the finish is markedly bitter. 281105

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear dark brown with a warm, reddish hue. Distinct sweetness from the roasted malt, and notes of charamel and a faint touch of smoke. Both good looking and solidly brewed. A beer with character. 210101

Bottle. Peppery aroma. Dark copper colour, very small white head. Peppery flavour, not hiding the alcohol at all. A bit maltier than strong lager, and with a little fruitiness. Otherwise it seems to me a beer made for the alcohol, not the flavour.

(Can 33 cl) Bjørn Hansen, the crazy man from Gentofte, fought for years to get beercans introduced in Denmark. One of his methods was by civil disobedience at a grocery store in Vordingborg. He has provoked plenty of court trials, from which newspaper cuttings mark this beercan. The beer has a decent head and quite a lot of bitterness. 280404

Bottle. Dark copper colour. Big semi-stable white head. Fruity flavour, hint of smoke. Quite clean flavour with a sweet aftertaste. 5 3 6 3 12
Bottle, 6.9%. Clear copper colour. White head, not so stable. The flavour is slightly caramelly with a mild alcohol note to balance. Not as flavourful as many other Bocks, tastes a bit like a cross between imperial pils and Bock. But not bad. 6 3 6 3 16
