50 cL can. Pours amber, clear, with a slight orange head and huge one. Medium to full bodied. Sweet dried fruity aroma with a lot of sweetish malts. Flavour is dark malty, dry fruity and slight roasted. Finish is also quite dark and clearly malty. Strong but not thrilling.

On tap at Bjørn Hansen’s stand at Gladmatfestivalen, Stavanger 2007. Pale golden colour, low head. Industrial pilsener aroma and flavour. Some bitterness. Boring.

bottle, thanks to MoritzF! Amber colour, large head. Full-bodied, slightly alcoholic. Flavours of malt, roasted malt and slightly fruity. Hoppy finish and aftertaste.

Sehr milder, fast aromenneutraler Antrunk. Zum Mittelteil hin ist das Bier etwas malzig, jedoch nicht so stark, wie ich es bei einem Bock erwarte. Dabei eine leichte Würze, die erst im Nachgeschmack zuschlägt und stark wird. Trotzdem scheint über dem Bier ein milder Mantel zu liegen, So richtig bockmäßig wirkt es für mich höchstens im Nachgeschmack. Dort ist neben der angenehmen Würze eine schokoladige Note zu erkennen. Mittelmaß, der Abgang tröstet über den entäuschenden Rest hinweg. Test vom 21.5.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,8,9,12,12,9 - 9,35

Malzig-süßer Antrunk mit deutlicher Alkoholnote, die noch stärker wird. Proportional nimmt auch die Süße zu, der malzige Ton versiegt, das Bier wirkt dadurch unausgeglichen. Zum Ende hin noch mal würziger und leicht malzig, aber irgendwas fehlt. Es ist die Würze, die das Bier nicht in ie Tiefe gehen lässt. Bottle. Creamy white good mostly deminishing head. Pale yellow colour. Moderate hopy bready aroma. Grassy notes. Heavy bitter flavor harsh bitter average finish. Watery palate. Not good.
