Draught at 6. Wiener Bierfest.
Orange, cloudy body, with a big, frothy, off-white head, with some yellow hop particles on top, as I have been told by the brewer.
Aroma of hops, citrus, orange, apricot, bread, grass, some herbs.
Taste follows this, with even more fruity hops, that are even a bit tangible in the mouth.
Quite light, slick mouthfeel, with a low carbonation.
Finishes medium bitter, very fruity, hoppy, a bit grassy, slightly herbal.

Nice one. Very quaffable, fruity and fresh. Propably the first beer I’ve had, where I could even see and feel the hops so much, like directly unfiltered from the brew kettle. Interesting.

500ml flip top bottle at an outdoor concert. amber color, smells of apricot jam, light sour not much else. full body, medium carbonation, slick mouthfeel. taste of apricot jam again, light dry / light sour, lightly salty, a bit citric, hints of coconut. rather dry / light sour / apricot finish. Decent but weird. I have fond memories of apricot jam, the combination with the sour notes and some salt is a bit weird for me. I find it rather hard to drink a glass of this.

bottle at home. orange, rather hazy color with small off-white head. smells malty sweet, fruits, plums, orange, a bit citric, pines, some grass. rather nice smell, quite fruity sweet. medium body, rather bubbly, light mouthfeel. taste of malty sweetness, acidic, light sour, fruity, peach, citric, hints of salt (but could be just as well from sour and acidic notes). light bitter / sweet / sour / fruity finish. liked the smell, the taste is not so great, also tastes a bit stale, so maybe not so fresh anymore. 500 ml bottle, cellared for about two years.
Black body, with a medium, unstable, creamy, dark beige head.
Aroma of dark chocolate, wood, dark berries, some coffee, slight balsamico.
Tastes of sour and dried fruits, chocolate, coffee, cocoa, some caramel, wood.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a quite lively carbonation.
Finishes roasty, a bit dry, fruity, with cocoa.

Nice. Quite unique, fruity Imperial Stout. Didn’t enjoy the taste as much as the nose, feels a bit unbalanced. Overall quite enjoyable, but not an Imperial Stout how I prefer it.

500 ml bottle, bought in Dec 2013 at the brewery.
Brown, copperish, hazy body, with a small, creamy, light beige head.
Aroma with loads of spice, like cardamom, ginger, some medicine notes, some nutty malts.
Taste with most of the spices mentioned in the description recognisable, also grass, nuts.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a soft carbonation.
Finishes spicy, a bit sweet malty, slightly herbal.

Really interesting. This is all about the spices, but very well balanced with the malts. Not much hops left, but it has been bottled about a year and a half ago. Enjoyed this, unqiue and quite quaffable stuff.

500 ml bottle, bough Dec 2013 at the brewery.
Dark brown body, with a medium, creamy, beige head.
Aroma is a bit flat, with chocolate, dark fruits, some smoke, slight coffee.
Taste is quite smokey and dry, with coffee, cocoa, dark chocolate, dark fruits.
Full, creamy mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes roasty, quite dry, a bit smokey, with dark chocolate and some coffee.

Nice one. Apart from the nose a quite satisfying Doppelbock, that also has Stout like notes. Fortunately not sweet at all, like many other beers of this style and instead with some smoke and coffee notes. Hopefully this will be brewed again.
