# 4961; 5/2026. As Gure Sagardoa 2024. Yeasty, apple, light sulphury aroma. Hazy yellow body; no head. Sour, tart, yeasty, chalk, apple, light funky. Medium body; softer carboantion. Very rustic cider. 0,7 l, green bottle, local shop, Bilbao (Basque Country, Spain).

Bottle shared by JK, thanks! Pours a slightly hazy dull yellow with a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has dry earthy apple with a touch of flora with a bit of a light funky note. Flavor has the same dry funky apple with a bit of a earthiness in the finish.

75cl bottle. Pours misty murky yellow. Chalky, cheesy tone with a sharp tang, milky sour edge with fine carbonation.. decent.

From a bottle, a 2024 cider, purchased in May 2026 at La Maripepa, Madrid, and opened late April, 2026. My first Basque product ever, as far as I know. Hazy pour, and given I only had the one bottle, I did not do the traditional pour from a height. Dry apple, yeast, and a florbal character. Dry throughout, apple skin and yeast. Low carbonation of course, which is fine. A unique beverage.

On cask at Ma Che Siete Venuti A Fà, pours a cloudy blonde with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of musty notes, apple skins, and some mildewy leather. Flavour is bone dry, with lots of must, dusty dry apple skins, and funky leather. Really well-constructed, finishing bone dry and nicely musty. Excellent.

75cl bottle from Bien Manger. Pours a hazed yellow, very gentle carb. Natural cheesy wild farmhouse elements alongside some wild fermented moderately fruity apple juice, not particularly sharp with a more modest natural tone, soft cheesy linger.. not bad.
