[Bottled] Bright amber, airy head. Perfumy peachy hop aroma. Medium sweet with light body and light, rounded mouthfeel. Pleasantly hoppy, with some biscuity malt character and medium salty bitterness. Nicely aromatic, but not overly complex.

An orange beer with a disappearing beige head. The aroma is very flowery with a clear Goldings hop presence. The flavor is sweet flowery, and again with this slightly dusty characteristic Goldings presence. I’m not that fond of Golding, but it is still a nice beer.

Bottled. (S.N.W.B. Organic Ale) Dark golden, lightly carbonating beer with a medium-sized off-white head. Malty aroma with caramel and some citrus-fruitiness. Quite well-defined maltiness in the flavor, yet almost over-powered by hops. Some of the Shepherd Neame beers are a bit malty for my taste, but here the maltiness almost disappeares due to hops. It could use a bit less fizzyness in the mouth too, I guess that maskes some of the flavors. Fruity and bitter finish. Nice body, and a decent beer. (060609)

Cask at the Wharf, Aalborg, DK. Dark golden with a small white head. Some caramel and malty aromas, with fruity hops. Malty and hoppy flavor. Quite weak. Medium body and a nice bitterness in the finish. (060525)

First rating Draught at Bishops Arms (Västra Hamngatan) in Gothenburg, Sweden. Dark amber color, fairly small tan head. Served very cold unfortunately. Fresh hoppy scent. A whole lot of taste, fruity and with good bitterness. A bit bitter aftertaste.7/3/8/3/15=3.6Second rating(Draught at The Rover, Göteborg)Clear copper color, small white head. (Bottled) Colour is amber, with a big frothy head, disappearing and leaving some lacing. Nose is hoppy, grassy and flowery with notes of fresh hay and citrus (grapefruit). Lovely aroma. Taste starts malty and fruity with a smooth and fresh hoppy finish, notes of grapefruit here as well. Medium body, easy to drink and refreshing. The bottled version is slightly drier and less fruity than the cask version. Nice and refreshing!
