330ml flip-top bottle at home shared by Saeglopur, big thanks. BB 05/2016. redish / brown color, small off-white head. smells sour, fruity, green apples, citric, light spices, thyme. nice smell, not sure if the sourness is on porpose. full body, soft carbonation, oily mouthfeel. tastes sweet, also sourish, fruits, banana, oranges, apples, spices, a bit astringent, light alcohol, marzipan notes. finishes with fruits, sweetness and some (sweet) spices. lovely beer, the sour notes are surprising, but more apparent on the smell, taste is rather nicely balanced between sweet and sourness. its sweet, but not sticky. overall very good.

330 ml bottle from a supermarket in Salzburg.
Orange, cloudy body, with a big, fluffy, white head.
Aroma of spices, wheat, bread, banana, sme other fruits.
Tastes of wheat, bread, spices, banana, some dried fruits, subtle hops.
Light, slick mouthfeel, with a fizzy carbonation.
Finishes spicy, yeasty, bready, a bit fruity.

Nice one. A solid and quaffable Weizen, nothing special, but refreshing and quite easy.

From bottle at Die Weisse brewpub.
Golden-orange, hazy body, with a big, frothy, white head.
Flat aroma of light fruits like banana, sweet malts, grains, grass, some spices, slight bread.
Taste follows this pretty much.
Light mouthfeel, with an almost fizzy carbonation.
Finishes light, a bit spicy, sweet malty, grassy.

Nothing special at all, but quite OK for the ABV. Not much Hefeweizen character left and pretty flat. Definitely not a beer I would revisit.

From bottle at Die Weisse brewpub.
Brownish-copper, cloudy body, with a big, fluffy, moderately lacing, off-white head.
Aroma of roast, bread, ripe banana, some caramel, spices
Taste is a bit light, with dark bread, some toast banana, orange, some caramel, spices.
Light, slick mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes bready, medium roasty, spicy, fruity.

Good. Easy to drink, but too light for my taste, quite light bodied. I like dark bread notes though. Overall far from my favourite style example, but still a quite nice beer.

Nocksteiner? On tap at Alkemist Belge, Salzburg. Looks orange with off white head. Medium head. Not dry hopped, aroma is malty, glue, dry fruits, watermelon. Medium body, drinkable. Not much taste, kind of sweet, but watery. It’s a summer drink. --- Beer aliased from original tick of Hafer Weisse on 04 Apr 2016 at 11:15 - Score: Appearance - 4 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 6.5. Original review text: On tap at #Belgiek - Beffa Bar, Salzburg, Austria. Clear golden, medium off-white head. Strong banana aroma, strawberry, banana juice. Light body, very drinkable, sweet and tasty, grainy finish with lasting yeast aromas. Lacks body, but makes a great summer drink.

Heller, bananig hefiger Beginn. Dabei mild süß, was im Mittelteil erhalten bleibt.

Frischer, bitter hefiger Antrunk. Die Hefigkeit nimmt dann schnell ab, auch die Bitterkeit und die Getreidenoten weichen schnell und geben den wässrigen Grundcharackter frei. Mild herb, süffig. Kann den guten Start nicht halten. 12/7/7/5/10/6
