Swing top bottle 50 cl. It's called 'Hell', but it's a cloudy, opaque dark amber - borderline brown - with a small, beige head. Yeasty nose with an aroma of malt bonbons. Light body or even thinnish. Not much sweetness but some yeast and overripe fruit. No bitterness. Really suffers from the lack of gluten. 170326

Bottle. Cloudy dark orange featuring a comparetively small white head. Aroma of clove, citrus fruits, yeast, oranges, bubblegum and alcohol. Taste of oranges, wheat, malts and clove with a rather dry finish. Moderate bitterness. Strong carbonation. This one packs a powerful punch. Lovely.

From tap at Rupert Kirtag in Salzburg. Dark amber, hazy body, with a big, creamy, beige head.
Aroma of banana cake, biscuit, yeast, dough, dried fruits, spices, some toast. Tastes similar.
Medium, creamy mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation. Finishes smooth, medium sweet, moderate spicy, yeasty, fruity, with banana cake, some toast.
Really quaffable and aromatic, with a very smooth, creamy character, lots of banana cake notes and some lovely dark malt notes. One of the best ones I've had from Die Weisse.

Not much head; metallic darker golden, clear beer, no carbonation visible. Not much nose... Toast, old leftover toast, utterly neutral. Undercarbonated, light MF. Got it. I want gluten!

Fully hazy, light orange-yellow beer with a small fluffy white head. Not much nose; obviously wheat, faintly peppery. Seem to get some lactic acid, surprise, surprise. Lemony character. Pale malts & wheat. Bit dry, not much else. Light body, just a bit wheatslick. Not very carbonated. Verdict: drinkable, if not much else.

Draught Lacey, medium head over light copper beer. Sourdough bread, very bready character, different malts & wheat. This is pure liquid bread. Bit toasted malts, but mainly fermented different grains. Medium bodied at best, bit slick; soft if present carbonation. Original, despite its common profile.

Medium, fluffy off-white head, lacey, over fully hazy orange beer. Bit sourish, wheat, lactic, if also just a tad acetic, as in gurkins. Faint clove. Very little acidity in the mouth, however, even pretty sweet. Grains, orange. More clove here, banana, wheat. Maybe medium bodied, medium carbonation. Very übliches , but there's nothing wrong.
