500 ml bottle. Clear dark golden almost amber, foamy head. Caramel, hay, slightly roasted malt, slightly grassy. Malty sweetness, some bitterness. Medium to full bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry sweetish finish. Well balanced and rather drinkable for 6 abv. Decent stuff!

Ottenbräu Pils, Flasche von Hörl, Kelheim. - Dunkles Goldgelb, klar. - In der Nase milde aber frische Zitronenschale und krautige Herbe über mattem hellen Malz. - Antrunk frisch zitrusfruchtig und intensiv herbal gehopft doch nur mäßig herb, mit zart zwiebackartiger Malzsüße und feiner floraler Note. Milder rezent, mineralisch weich. Im Abgang runde aber lange Bittere. - Sehr schönes Pilsener des süddeutschen Typs, fein malzsüß, aromatisch gehopft aber maßvoll bitter. Gefällt. (29.9.2020.)

Had this at Café Meets, Abensberg Saturday 15th August 2020 after a 43km cycle ride from home. Pours hazy deep gold/orange with a white head. Banana and clove on the nose (subtle) and more prominent in the mouth, nice light zippy carbonation, this is a very nice wheat beer.

Had this at Café Meets, Abensberg Saturday 15th August 2020 after a 43km cycle ride from home. Pours chestnut brown, light haze, with a light beige head, malty with caramel, light fruity, dates mostly. Good.
