Poured from a 375ml bottle. Aroma is moderately fennel forward with a slightly lighter blackberry character. Light oak notes and acidity with a light herbal and moderately floral note. A large gusher. Pours a murky, light purple color with a large, thin, slightly pink head that quickly recedes to the edges. No lacing or legs. Flavor is moderately acidic with a light sweetness. Moderate berry notes with some lighter fennel. Light oak notes. Light floral notes and some herbal phenolics. Hints of honey and lemon. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a decent beer and the blackberry and fennel work better than I was expecting. The carbonation needs work, but lots of berry and yogurt notes.

Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Aroma is rather grain forward white bread and a very light smokey note. Some light rye notes with medium apple character. A light, herbal, phenolic spicy note. Pours a hazy, pale, straw color with a large, frothy, pillowy white head that does not seen to recede at all. Moderate lacing and no legs. Flavor is slightly acidic to a medium light acidity with a light sweetness. Medium light apple notes with moderate grain character. White bread, some light smoke notes and rye spice. Medium light phenolic notes with some moderate fruity esters. A bit grassy. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, better than I was expecting when looking at the ingredients. The flavor and aromas are all well balanced and none really overwhelms the other. Still not an amazing saison though.
