Growler, thanks to Eugene, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out roasted malt, bready malt, and some burnt notes. Flavour is robust, with roasted malt, crusty rye bread, and light burnt notes. Lots of depth to this - the crusty bread are front and centre. Great stuff.

Sampler at brewpub. Dark, clear amber color. Aroma is dry maltiness, mild hop character. Flavor is clean bark malts and a creamy house finish. Clean, well attenuated. Maybe a bit dull.
