Draft pour at Stoup, Ballard. Clean golden appearance with a mousse foam head. Biscuit grains pair well with dank grassy and piney hops. Big bitter with an aggressive bite late. Perfectly punishing in that regard. Piney nose with the slightest hint of citrus. As bitter and flavorful as a double west coast, but remains session-ish. Love this.

Draft pour at Stoup, Ballard. Clean golden appearance, slight orange tint, lots of sticky head and lacing. Excellent hop bill here, layered with grassy, citrus peel bitter. Crisp first sip with a bold grain backbone. Cool finish, with the grain existing late into the palate. Absolute gem of a weat coast IPA. Maybe it's the 40 days without one talking, but I love everything about this one.

16 oz. can, pours a clear copper golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out gentle piney hops, some light melon, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is somewhat oily, with a nice piney hop character, a touch of resinous hop oils, and dry biscuity malt. Well-hopped, yet not too bitter. Well-balanced and cleanly hopped as usual. Very good.

On tap at Stoup, pours a clear bright golden with a fluffy medium white head. Aroma brings out moderate dank hops, some fresh doughy malt, and that cryo character that's hard to describe. Flavour is very oily, with plenty of oily, dank hops, some gentle pine, and light residual sweetness. Extremely oily — is that due to the frozen hops? It's not bad but doesn't match a properly fresh hop IPA.

On tap at Stoup, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma has some earthy, sweaty, dank hops, and soft bready malt. Flavour is better, so try an oily, subtly resinous, moderate piney hop character, finishing dank and oily. Good structure as always, but maybe not the best hop expression. Good.

On tap at Stoup, pours a clear bright pale golden with a small white head. Aroma is soft, with fresh doughy notes and some dankness. Flavour is full of fresh doughy malt, fresh dank hops, and a soft, only lightly bitter finish. Really nicely done.

On tap at Stoup, pours a clear pale golden with a medium white head. Aroma is very gentle, with soft pillowy wheaty notws, not much else. Flavour is much the same, with soft wheaty notes, gentle bitterness, and a dry finish. Simple, clean, crushable, but uninteresting.

473ml can. Opalescent, orange golden colour with average, frothy to creamy, slowly osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy and piney, slightly tropical fruity, hoppy aroma, sweet-ish, pale and caramel malty background, notes of orange, some pineapple and mango. Taste is crisp and bitter, piney and citrusy fruity, slightly grassy hoppy, pale and slightly caramel malty backbone with low residual sweetness, notes of lemon, hints of woody pineapple, some grapefruit, a touch of mandarine. Oily-watery texture, dry, simultaneously minimally greasy palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Very clean, focussed - paradigmatic West Coast IPA.
