Can. Pours a clear golden hue with a medium white head. A sweet malty nose. Something akin to toasted malt, sweet light citrus. Ok. Not good. Not bad.

Can from Isetan. Bright, clear gold with a nice head. Herbal, floral noble hop nose. Says Callista and Sapfir hops. Nose nose. Rather rich malt. Sweet, malty flavor with a nice touch from the hops--they are noble, but new-wave noble. A bit on the sweet side, like all PMs lately, but overall pretty nice.

I heard this was ok so decided to give it a go. Suntory Premium Malts Seaside Ale 6% It’s a clear deep gold with thick but fast dissipating foam. Malty aroma and semi-sweet with graham notes. Medium bodied and overly gassy. The taste is plain but not bad. A passable seasonable brew.

Can. Pale gold, clear. High airy head. Fruity nose, honey, biscuits, lemon and orange. Pretty much what I am used to from Japanese industrial ales. Very sweet at first Biscuits, honey malts, lemon. Not well balanced for something aimed at Summer time. Finishes slightly crisp and fruity, with moderate hop bitterness. Should have stuck to 5%. Not terrible, won’t have another.

Bottle shared by Cuso, thanks. Malty aroma and taste, caramel, oxidation, sirupy sweetness. Light body, malty sweet finish. This is not the right direction for the beer evolution.
