One of the few things I was able to turn up in rural Shiga but I’m wondering who added this to RB? Suntory Kaori Sawayaka Ale Type 2020 Summer 5% Deep gold with your typical macro fizzy Soda like foam that’s gone in a blink. My first sip gave me some citrus notes while later ones gave more malt. On the sweet side but a fairly passable macro lager.

Can from Lawson. Nose is lemon-lime soda, light crackery malt and some wax. Very pale yellow, clear, low head. Flavor is not very beery. Lemon-lime, like Sprite, crackers, some bitterness that moves closer to astringency in the finish. Thin body and rather lame cabonation. Wow, the after taste really sucks. Another bad one in this series. Why the hell do I still do this for the tick?

Clear gold with a rich white head. Green apple and sweet caramel. Dry and sweet with caramel and a touch of apple. Bitter finish.

On tap at Gori-Gori Burger Taproom in Tokyo. A bit hazy golden with a medium white head. Mild and easy to drink with hops, some citrus and light malt. The bitterness was on the soft side
