Taste is slightly dry sour-ish grassy, hay, weeds, minerals, paper, grass, dried grain, bark. Medium bitterness, slightly harsh grainy mouthfeel. Boring.

Can from Yamaya. Clear pale golden color with a medium head. Flaovr is light lemony and herbal hops and pale malt, which is a bit like white bread or biscuits. Flavor is lemony again, with really quite innocuous malt character like Wonder bread. Not bad, just really bland. Body is light, somewhat crisp though just a bit soapy. Big Meh all around.

Medium golden color with one of the pronounced noses I've had from a major Japanese brewer. It is off to a good start, but was worried about the 6% abv as usually Japanese majors can't pull off higher abv lagers and this is no exception. Slightly boozy and richer than it needs to be. Nice firm bitterness, which is nice. I didn't find it boozy or cloying as some other 6% beers, but this could be taken down a notch. Still modestly refreshing and nice dry bitterness. Pretty decent IMO

Can. Fruity hop nose, orange, peaches, a bit of melon. Crisp lager malt. Golden orange color, clear. Boozy, sweet, rich, ok hops. Rather full and too much malt and booze. Not bad but would have better to stick to 5%. The hop flavors are somewhat candy-like and fake.

Bottle. Nose has a bit of vanilla and wood in it. Flavor is woody, lightly tannic, with a touch of vanilla. It is crisp and light. There must be a very small portion of cask aged beer mixed in here, because the cask character is very light. Tastes nice, as the base beer is nice, but not sure if it was worth the bother, really.

Bottle. Cool pull tab. Pours a clear golden hue with a large white head. A soft perfume malty nose. Semi sweet, mostly dry, light yeast, some bready dough. Reminds me of E European lagers. OK.
