330ml can from a Tokyo convenience store. Poured a crystal clear golden colour with little life. The aroma is sweet, corn, grainy malt, light hop. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter, with a grainy malt, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Golden and clear pour, looks a bit watery but that's alright. Nose has some wet grains, light sweetness and hint of hops. tastes sweetish grainy, light sweetness, simple malty and lightly hoppy crisp lager. Not bad at what it is, not remarkable in any way. Alright.

Can from Yamaya. Fruity nose, white grapes, light, crisp malt, slightly herbal. Pale gold, slightly hazy, low head. Sweet, honey, white grapes, bit of citrus, very light, simple malts. Low carbonation. Seems a bit old, canned in October. Pretty tasty, though. Rather modern tasty.

Golden color. Very carbonated. Fairly clean clean hoppy nose, but a bit too sweet with fresh laundry detergent notes. Slightly heavier than usual malt backbone with good bready notes. Lots of grassiness, but a bit heavier than I like. Not exactly a deep aroma, but a decent mainstream full bodied well hopped lager.

Suntory Malts Deep Aroma I think this is the one I was told was pretty good. Clear gold, fizzy head makes for a typical macro lager. The aroma has herbal lightly grassy spicy hops but also sweet grains and stewed cabbage. Medium bodied, dry and crisp but heavily carbonated like many laxrolafers making me feel gassy. The taste is similar, not bad but too gassy for me.

500 ml can from 7-11. Rich malty nose. Munich malt comes out nicely. Bread, biscuits, toasty, lightest touch of caramel, with nice herbal hops. Clear golden orange, high head. Rich and malty, toast, biscuits, herbal hops. Medium to full bodied lager here, carbonation just right. Wow! This is good. Feel like I am in Bavaria. Maybe just a touch too sweet but this hit the spot.
