Description
Since 1870 our family, the Meens family, has been brewing its Alfa beers in the traditional way. Alfa Bier's brewing process is still the traditional brewing process. The recipe, the method of brewing and the raw materials have consciously never changed, because we do not compromise on the quality of our beer. Alfa is the only brewery in the Netherlands to have 100% pure spring water from an officially recognized source. That water from our own source determines the special, pure and full taste of our Alfa Beers.

Bottled. An amber beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of caramel, metal, malt, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, metal, and caramel, leading to a dry metallic finish. Thanks KimJohansen for sharing.

Bottled (BB 04/2010). Courtesy of bierkoning, ty Edo! Golden yellow color, small white head. Sweet honeyish, alcoholic and grainy aroma with some apple. Flavor is similar, very fruity and sweet, low bitterness but some alcohol. Actually more or less pleasant drink, when you share a bottle. Not something to drink in quantities.
