Description

300 ml bottle into an old Forbidden Fruit chalice at home on 22nd December 2025. Bottle obtained in Valkenburg, most likely in the Jumbo Supermarket. Clear amber body, off white topping. Decent enough Bock, malty. boozy and slightly spicy in the right places. Lacked a bit of depth and 'oomph'. Texels beers could be great , but they just fail to push the flavours or depth of body (watering down a decent beer to make more profit).

300ml bottle into an old Corsendomk Grand Cru stemmed tulip glass at home on 21st December 2025. Light haze in the golden orange body, white crust. The Sea Fennel gives the beer a salty feel and does impact on the nose and flavour. Not unpleasant, but it's slightly different. I have found Texels beers difficult at times, but this one is OK.

And again big thank you to Torsten & Daniel for this 0,30 l bottle. BB 15.10.2027. Cloudy dark amber in the glass, more than one finger pale beige head. Dark fruity aroma, allmonds, some malt. Taste starts intensive malty, sweetness, some nuts, dark fruity. Alcoholic. Low carbonated. Mid bitterness. Not bad.

Big thank you to Torsten & Daniel for this 0,30 l bottle. BB 04/26. Red golden in the glass, slightly cloudy, small light tanned head. Fruity aroma, mostly apple and orange. Yeast way behind in the background. Taste starts red malty, yeast, less fruity, maybe some orange. Honey elements in the second part. Mid bitterness. Just okay.

300m bottle at a random bar in Valkenburg on 3rd November 2025. Almost clear golden orange body, fast fading white head. Pleasant enough wheat beer, lively and crisp with a slight herbal/spicy feel.
