Description

Bottled (CK). Hazy orange color, no head. Very lively bottle. Lemon, wheat and coriander in the nose. Crisp carbonated mouthfeel. Lemony, dish cleanser -like flavor, despite of "purity law", also coriander notes. Kind of plastic. Kölsch? More like witbier.

Bottle at WBF ’09 Gouda. Deep dark brown colour, beige head. Aroma of sweet candy, alcohol, malts. Flavour is very sweet, candy, caramel, slightly roasted malts. Medium bodied. A bit too sweet for my liking. Earlier Rating: 8/13/2008 Total Score: 3.5Bottle @ the brewery, as Texels Ondeugd. Dark ruby brown beer, beige head. Aroma of raisin, caramel and liquorice. Flavour is sweet, roasted malts, some red fruits, brown sugar and an alcohol finish. Nice, but a bit too sweet.

Bottle, 7.5%. Good creamy aroma. Dark brown colour, seems a little hazy. Small stable light brown head. The flavour is also creamy, but seems a little dry. Hint of vinous aftertaste.

30 cL bottle. Pours hazy brown with a nice, dense and light brown head. Solid roasted malt aroma with a yeast and alcohol bite in the nose. Sweet malt flavoured with a distinct dry phenolic touch on the back of the nose. Nicely counterbalanced with a solid hops note and lasting bitterness to break the dense malt flavours.

From tap at de Heks. Pours cloudy golden orange with a lacing white head. Mild spiced and malty aroma. Caramel malty and sight nutty flavoured with a light sweetness and subdued bitterness. Holds a solid sourish note to all of this. Ends with a mild nutty finish. Nice and smooth and refreshing citric.
