On tap at ‘t Arendsnest, Amsterdam.
Hazy amber coloured, medium sized off-white head, dusty wheaty nose with touch of fruits. Sweetish caramel, hops and a touch of wheat with notes of strawberries and cinnamon. A bit watery palate and moderate sweet finish.

Bottled(300ml). -from very nice tulip. Cloudy peach coloured, small white head, lively carbonation. Light malty, yeasty and caramel taste with low hop presence and sugary notes in the finish. One-dimensional and boring. Such a nice glass for such a lousy beer.

On tap @ the brewery. Hazy amber colour, big off-white head. Aroma of caramel and wheat. Flavour is a bit spicy, wheat and caramel. Something about this beer’s flavour that I don’t like, but can’t pinpoint what it is.

On tap @ Arendsnest, few weeks ago. Hazy golden amber, thick white head. Spicy aroma, ripe fruits. Flavour is a bit sweet, fruity, with a dry finish. Flavours seem out of balance. Between the tripel and Goud, but hasn’t got the best of both beers.

On tap @ the brewery. Beautiful slightly hazy bright golden colour, white head. Aroma of hops, citrus, soft malts. Flavour is slightly malty, yeast, hoppy freshness, bit fruity. Soft mouthfeel. Very, very nice beer. More like Christoffel Blond (less bitter though) than a Kölsch.
