From tap. Pours hazy yellow with a diminished white head. Yeasty and spiced aroma with a light hoppy note. Light spiced and caramelish dry malty. Shows a nice phenolic yeast note on the back of the nose and a dry spice note into the finish. Smooth, dry and nice.

From tap. Pours hazy orange with a diminished white head. Aroma is mild malty and towards cornish. Mild caramel malty flavour with a light cornish note and vague bitterness. Ends medium dry and bitter. Not bad, just not exciting. Light phenolic on the back of the nose.

Huge yellowish head, collapsing over bright amber-brown beer with orange reflections. End of bottle full of UFO’s. Spiced-sweet, caramelly nose, dry spices, ginger, citrus, but restrained. Roasted malt, caramel, little toffee, maltsyrup but nothing too sweet; little heated citrus edge, even a glimpse of hops. Very good balance. Medium bodied at best, wheat slickness, pretty spritzy MF. Nicely balanced beer, on the edge of thick-spiced warming and easily drinkable. Good find!

Bottled (ABV 7%, thanks jbrus!). Dark rubyish brown colour with big creamy/fluffy off-white head. Aroma is dark fruits, some slight roasted notes as well as a minor touch of metallicness. Flavour is toffee, roasted malts, mildly smoked wet wood, plum, some spices as well as some sllight burning alcohol. As it warms also the toffeeishness as well as dark fruits start showing up. Sadly the same with the metallic notes. Still a rather balanced and quite nice beer while cold.

Bottle: Poured a dark brown with a creamy off white to beige head. The aroma is dark fruit and roasted malts. Taste is roasted malt and more fruit, there is a nice alcohol burn that makes my palate come alive. Finish is sticky and dry.

Bottle: Hazy, lively carbonation, amber coloured, persistent creamy head; sweet caramel, orange-peel and spices in the nose; sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; increasing spicy-herbal bitterness in the fruity-malty, slightly vinous and warming finish. Good winter-warmer.........

On tap @ ’t Arendsnest. Nice hazy golden colour, creamy white head. Aroma of hops and banana’s, a little fruity. Flavour is fruity and hoppy, a little wheat and alcohol. A really nice thirstquencher with a kick (ABV 7.6%), albeit a bit thin.
