Clear golden with a large white head Malty nose with biscuit and subtle grassy hops. Over the the palate came caramel, malt and subtle grassy hops. Finished dry.

Draft at the source on the back leg of the Aufsesser Bierwanderung. Amber with a frothy, white head. Aroma of white bread, grains, mixed herbs. Mildly bitter throughout with a toasted bitterness at the end. Lingering caramel. Good.

Reichold Lager, Flasche von Aquatron, BA. - Kupfergoldbraun, klar. - In der Nase fein karamelliges Malz mit hintergründiger hopfenwürziger Herbe, die durch zarte erdige Noten besonderen Reiz gewinnt. - Antrunk fein toastig-karamelmalzig mit dezenter Süße, etwas Brotkruste, ein Hauch von Grapefruitschale. Milde hopfenwürzig-erdige Herbe. Durchschnittlich rezent, schlank, hart im Mund. Im Abgang doch ein wenig zu blaß, dadurch im Nachtrunk etwas schal und schwach muffig. - Klassisches Frankenlager, zwar nicht einfach zu fad-süßlich, wie ich vor zehn Jahren notierte, aber doch zu knapp gehopft und auch ein klein wenig dünn. Bottle. Clear chestnut, offwhite cream. Mellow low roast bready notes, a hint cookie, dry chocolate notes, fitting bitterness, quick finish. Quite drinkable but maybe not the most interesting dunkel.

Bottle at home pciked from Lnd bier paradise online. A pale amber orange coloured pour with a lasting beige head. Aroma is earthy grains, straw, cereal, apple turnover, light toffee. Flavour is composed of dry earthy grains, straw, light belgain yeast expression, apple, light tang in the finish. Layered rustic grains. Palate is semi sweet, drying finish, moderate fine carbonation. Decent stuff.

Bottle from Hier gibts bier and drunk at home. Dark brown colour lasting beige head. dark lager. some malt but not really malty. some brown malt. some dryness on the finish. it's kinda ok. spicy hop finish. balanced well. a brown ale. good .won me over in the end .
