Brilliant white rocky head stayed in a chill hazy straw body. Grain aroma. Medium bodied, lively with a smooth back. Malt, grain, breast, sweet citrus & tangy tastes with a bitter finish. Quaffer!

50cl bottle, twist top (5.0% ABV): BB 20th Aug 2021. Drank at home on 7th Feb 2021. Red hue to the deep amber/brown body, fast fading off-white head. Strong caramel/malty nose and taste, overpowering the yeast and wheat you'd usually find in this style, it's pretty sweet too. As the beer warms a little there is a faint 'Hefenwiess' banana and wheaty/yeasty feel, but the sweetness is the overriding feature of this.

500ml screw top bottle (as Kellerbier @ 5.4% ABV): BB 19th Nov 2021. Drank at home on 7th Feb 2021. Mini-haze to the light golden body, thin white head. Not a lot going on aroma wise; mild herbal and grainy esters if you sniff long and hard enough. Taste is also grainy with a herbal twist; not enough to get excited about though. There is also a hint of 'age' flavour wise (cobwebs and mustiness). Pleasant enough Kellerbier (I'm no expert) but nothing to make it stand out from the crowd.
