A slightly fizzy white head on a clear straw body. The nose is fresh bread, Belgian yeast and some citrus zest. A punchy, fruity Belgian blonde. The sweet bready malt, banana, lemon pulp notes work well with touches of honey and way above average effervescence.

Can from the brewery. Clear golden pour small white head.aroma is vegetal, light apples, musty wet paper. Full mouth feel, soft carb. Lacks the crisp and brightness of a true Pils. Full bodies, fruity, adjunct lager. Meh.

Base sour beer is meh....light tartness, but not much else with a blast of fake cherry flavouring. Take a base sour, and add a black cherry freezie to it. Not good.

Dark cereals, toffee, a touch nutty, with some cocoa, and hints of coffee. Light fruit apples, and pears. Light mouth feel, solid carb, low to medium bitter. Caramel, toffee cereal finish with some light pine and dark fruit. Decent

Bottle from the brewery. brewed to celebrate their 5th anniversary. Hazy yellow/orange pour, with a medium sized white head. Aroma is funk, and crackery. Honestly this smells like doritos. The both and mouth feel are ok, but th carb is very soft. Bordering on flat. The finish is must pine needles and pine resin. The hops are musty and stale. The brett emparts a touch of tartness and funk and not a whole much more, any fruit is musty, and weird. I wonder if this is an infected bottle. I have two, will re rate if the other is different.

Slightly hazy yellow pour, with a medium white head. Very very grassy, hints of grapefruit and some light citrus zest. Light tropical fruit. A lot of fruit going, but also quite subtle at the same time with a subtle tart twang going on. Thin mouth feel, soft carb. Low bitterness, super grassy, light citrus and tropical fruit. Pretty much what your expect when you dry hop a pale lager.

Poured a reddish, light brown/beige. With a small off white head. Aroma has notes of vinegar, light cherries and stone fruit. Mouth feel is normal, carb is very low. Finish is quite tart, finishing on sour. Strong lactic notes, more stone fruit, and light tropical fruit.

Can from the brewery. Clear yellow pour, small white head. Smells and tastes exactly like your expect. Pale malts, light corny vegetables notes, light grasses. It’s not awful, it is what it is. Just a pale easy drinking lager. Yup.

Growler from the brewery. Pours a pale, cloud yellow with a large white head. Aroma is super grassy with hints of lime zest and light cereals. Mouth feel is good, carb is soft. Finish is again very grassy with a soft sourness, and hints of lactic acid. I doubt this was supposed to be sour, an off batch? Did the pacific gem add this sourness, I don’t know, but it was unexpected, and I’m not sure I like it.
