Bottle sample at the Funk Collective at BFS. Deep ruby red color, few bubbles. Nice aroma of dusty overripe raspberry and light funk. Taste is softly sour berries, good complexity and character.

Bottle thanks to Radar! Pours a haze orange amber with a medium white head and decent lacing. Aroma is full of tropical fruit notes, guava and passionfruit, perhaps pineapple as well. Flavor is light tart, popping with fruitiness. Light plus body, soft mouthfeel. Excellent.

750 ml growler from the brewery, poured a few hours ago. Appearance is a murky orange /gold color, thin lasting head retention. Aroma is hay stacks, subtle white grape, and mild pale grain. The flavor is an exact copy with a mild peppery yeast hint. The body is lighter with a moderate level of bitterness.
Ok, overall I really like the Nelson Sauvin hop variety. So maybe that accounts for my score or maybe I need to give Will and Frank some credit. Either way this is very respectable and a bit above average.

Review from notes, Sample at The Microbrew Invitational 6/3/2017 Hazy dark yellow. Earthy Tart fruity berry. Kind of straddles the line between saison and American wild.

Review from notes, Sample at The Microbrew Invitational 6/3/2017 Hazy deep yellow without much of a head. Juicy citrus pine and earth with faint sweet bread underneath. Pretty good.

Review from notes, Sample at The Microbrew Invitational 6/3/2017 Looks like cloudy pink grapefruit juice. Tart berries with an overwhelming peach aroma and flavor. Bright tartness. Pretty damn tasty sour ale.

750 ml growler, filled at the source 75 minutes ago. Orange cloudy appearance, thin lasting soapy head. Aroma is Belgian yeast that comes off a tad leathery, like unfinished leather. Mld unripe fruits.
The Brewers maybe after a Belgian IPA theme with this? The flavor has a substantial amount of bitterness that kind of clashes with the yeast. After it warms, and I finished an entire snifter, the bitterness became near abrasive. Not a favorite.

4 oz. glass draft at the source. Appearance is a nearly clear gold. Aroma is light notes of oranges and wheat. The wheat base goes well with the larger amount of citrus. Rustic grain hints.
The Mosaic that was used shows an earthy element that carries over into the flavor and gives a low lingering amount of bitterness. Lighter - medium body with a dry texture. Overall, about what I was expecting with this ale.

4 oz. glass draft at the source. Appearance is the typical New England hazy IPA that is the craze right now. The hops used here were not disclosed by the Brewer but they come off earthy with tones of grapefruit and lemon rind.
The citrus grapefruits are right up front turning into a a earthy rustic grain finish. Maybe a bit of dirty resin in here as well. Dry texture with a little bit of a grainy feel. Yeah, overall pretty strong offering.
