Growler from the Brewery. solid black color with a smallish tan head that shows moderate retention. Big roast and milk chocolate on the nose with hints of earthy hops and a very light smoke to counter. The chocolate dominates the flavor with hints of sweet creamed coffee and a light earthy ashy smokey flavor especially in the finish. Medium body with a light to moderate carbonation. That is pretty damn tasty!

Growler from the Brewery. Crystal clear deep golden with hints of orange and a smallish off white head that shows moderate retention. Spicy earthy hops dominate the aroma with some citrus and caramel breadiness to counter. Pretty spicy with hop flavor, bits of pine and resin with some solid bready caramel to back it up. Lingering bitterness long after each sip is done. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation. Nice little drinker right here.

Growler from the source. Deep crystal clear deep golden color with a decent long lasting bubbly white head. The nose has got juicy sweet fruity aromas with hints of earth and melon rind with bits of honey sweet malt. The flavor is sweet honey like maltiness with just a touch of carmelization. Earthy, citrus bitterness barely counters the malt or my perception of sweetness. Bitter pithy hops linger long after each sip. Interesting brew, I had trouble finding the wheat in here and it seemed a bit sweet for my tastes.

Draft @ Jonhson’s seafood and Steak. Color is a murky orange with thin head in a standard shaker glass. Aroma has grapefruit, nectarines, mild grass and a touch of pine.
The flavor is mostly the same combo as the aroma with a nice assertive pine bitterness that lingers after the sip. Steady bitterness is balance by the grain bill but this is right on the border between APA and the IPA style. Pleasantly hoppy and a nice brew to have with lunch. I would not pass up the chance to try this brew. Well crafted.
Superb. Amazing for a new brewery. Lovely tart. Super clean.

On tap in a chilled glass at Front Row Pizza in Exeter. Slightly hazy yellow color with a decent sized bubbly white head. Big bitter pine and citrus on the nose with hints of rustic woody almost minty hops. Light bready malt barely comes through. Moderate to high level of hop bitterness. Smells awesome, but bracingly bitter at times. Tone back the bittering hops a bit or up the malt sweetness a touch to counter it. Looking forward to more from this brewery!

On tap. Off white head and hazy yellow color. A-pine, pine and pine. Did I say pine? Some citrus. T-pine/grapefruit rind hops. Finishes dry.
