Growler at Leighton’s pre-wedding shindig. It pours dark brown with decent dark beige head. The nose is fresh, rich coffee beans, earth, mild acidity, cacao nibs and coffee cake. The taste is bitter, earthy, big coffee vibe, mild smoke, coffee cake, wood with a dry, rich roast finish. Medium + body and moderate carbonation. Very tasty.

Tap at Novare Res, Portland. It pours hazy golden with a decent white head. The nose is fresh, tart lime, lemon parfait, sweet lychee, pickles and sherbet. The taste is damn tart, good mouth - pucker, lemon sherbet, lime, mild acidity, pickles and lychee with a dry finish. Light - medium body and fine carbonation. Nice one.

Growler from the Source. Mostly clear deep golden color with a smallish off white head that shows moderate retention. Bready maltiness with a hint of caramel. Light earth and pine aroma with more of an earthy peppery hop flavor. Moderate lingering hop bitterness. Decent enough pale ale if not a touch on the bitter and spicy side.

Growler form the brewery. Hazy light yellow with a minimal head. Spicy salty lemony with a hint of funk and a touch of solvent. Not horrible, but that off flavor just bugged me at each sip.

Draft at Novare Res. Hazy orange color without any head. Aroma is Lychee, wheat lactic acid. The flavor has a lasting, substantial pucker that hints the taste buds. The wheat base tries to balance the pucker but the pucker wins. Nicely crafted.

Growler shared by Willrunforbeer, much thanks! Cloudy golden color with thin head that has no legs. The aroma is cereal grain, light lemon and a whisp of salt.
Flavor has low acidic level with mild salt in the finish. However, the finish is rather clean. The one minor off note is a trace of Lemon floor cleaner. Still very drinkable and easy to drink giving the low salt level. Some light mineral hints. Nice.

750 ml growler shared by Willrunforbeer. Hazy gold with some lasting head retention. Aroma has notes of melons, citrus and wheat.
Wheat base is over powered by the hops yet the bitterness is low. Pretty moderate level of bitterness of grapefruit rind that hangs around after the sip. Pretty well balanced with a lot of fruit. As I finished the snifter I realized the bitterness started to stack up. Pretty good IPA
