Can to tulip.
Appearance: bronzed amber color with a two finger white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: some citrusy hops, subtle funk, sweet grassy hops, some white pepper, light clean cement, wet grains, something Belgian-like and a touch of lemon pulp
Flavor: somewhat funky, spicy and a little bit of sweetness meshing the prior noted aromas; finishes funky, semi-grassy and lemony
Texture: light to medium bodied, somewhat sessionable, light smoothness but also some peppery assertiveness
Overall: odd beer, it's some sort of Belgian ale, I think? Hmmm, maybe in a pinch there's a possibility of returning to, maybe...

Can to tulip.
Appearance: dark amber color with a sly transparency about it. Two and a half fingers of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: some sweet spices, woody character, butternut squash? (Uhmmm, I think that's what that is? Not entirely sure), now I smell the cinnamon (that took a little bit to smell), extra grassy/earthy tones that seem a bit muddled
Flavor: moderately sweet through those prior noted aromas with a stealthy spicy vibe underneath; finishes squash-like with a certain root-like tone & a touch of cinnamon
Texture: between light and medium bodied, not exactly sure if this is sessionable or if this a sipper (I'm left scratching my beard quite a bit on that); there's some smoothness but you about that finish I talked about earlier - yup, once again that "root"-like character seems to add a little bit of grit along my tongue
Overall: I don't see myself coming back to this beer. Not exactly sure what else to say.

Poured into a nonic pint glass.
Appearance: dark amber to brown color with a thin white foamy head, sly lacing
Aroma: nutty, malty, toasty, some coffee
Flavor: takes the previously mentioned aromas to wrap up sweetly and roasty, subtle nutty aftertaste
Texture: light to medium bodied, smooth along my tongue, nutty finish
Overall: gets the trick done as an English brown ale, I'd bang again.

Undated can drunk 1/10/26, as pictured.
Smells like peanuts; real and pretty nicely-done. Not too much salt/roast/earth, etc...The stout base seems to be quite dark-fruited which contributes and almost jammy character, or grapey, if you will. Rich and seemingly not too sweet, and not boozey. Not a lot of complexity, but it's singular mission seems accomplished in the nose.
Roasty and lightly malty with some chewiness and sweetness to it, but not too much. Peanuts are evident and flavorful throughout. Unfortunately, the finish has a bitterness that could be alcohol or could be oil/fat from the peanut? If it's alcohol, it's not hot/sharp, but just sort of dulls the flavors and creates an abrupt finish to an otherwise shockingly well-done PB Stout. Not sure this has the flavor intensity of 10% abv, but the texture is balanced and it's not sweet and syrupy.

Pour light brown with a fuzzy white head. Aroma of fairly flat malt, some herbs. Taste has fairly flat malt, more nuttiness. Palate is mildly sweet, nutty, some herbal elements. Good.

Pour is a hazy gold with a large white head. Aroma is a very slight pils malt. Flavor is more dry pils malt with a little bitter aspirin aftertaste. Just ok.

Can from my advent calendar. Slightly hazy copper pour, with a fluffy, sticky, beige head. Soft, sweet malts, light roast, light nuts, some cherry, and a hint of oxidized brown sugar. Mouth feel is creamy, carb is the same. Finish is medium bitter, slightly astringent, more cereals, some bready, light pine notes and some pie crust.
